ChatSave does not collect, store, transmit, or share any user data.

Data Collection

This extension collects no data whatsoever:

• No personal information
• No conversation content
• No browsing history
• No analytics or telemetry
• No cookies or tracking

How It Works

ChatSave operates entirely locally within your browser. It reads conversation content from the current page, formats it as Markdown or PDF, and downloads the file directly to your device. Your conversations are never sent to any server. Export count is stored locally using chrome.storage.local.

Permissions

• activeTab — Required to read conversation content from the current AI chat page.
• scripting — Required to inject the parser that extracts conversation data.
• storage — Used to store your export count locally.

Third-Party Services

This extension makes no network requests and uses no third-party services. PDF generation is handled entirely client-side using jsPDF.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
